Tee Timez Golf Simulator Review – Best Indoor Golf in Mesa?

If you live in Arizona you know that it gets wicked hot in the summer.

Until the last few years, there were very few options when it came to indoor golf simulators. But as golf continues to grow since 2020, there are some more indoor options available.

Today I’ll share my Tee Timez review – which is a private golf simulator studio in Mesa, Arizona. I’ve been using the facility since January 2023 and can’t say enough good things about it.

Keep reading to learn more about this private studio and see if it’s just what you need to beat the Arizona heat.

Tee Timez Review

Tee Timez is a private 24-hour golf studio located right off the 202 in Mesa, Arizona. It’s located in an industrial park and open 24/7/365… so you can practice or play whenever you want. It’s a great space with a large island, four chairs, a couch, a bathroom, and two TV’s.

Tee Timez is pretty much every guy’s ideal golf man cave – except you can rent it out instead of having to create at home. You can bring friends, family, or go solo like I do a lot of times and work on your game. Sync your phone to Bluetooth and listen to any music you want or watch TV with the different streaming service options during your virtual round.

Before getting into the different membership options let’s talk about the impressive simulator. Most indoor golf studios use Trackman – which makes arguably the best launch monitors in golf and they also double as a simulator.

But Tee Timez uses Golfzon, which provides a more impressive simulator experience in my opinion. Because the mat is hydraulically activated to change based on the type of lie you’ll have on the golf course.

For example, if you’re playing Pebble Beach and get a downhill lie, the mat will actually shift to raise the back and provide a downhill lie. The mat also has patches of grass for rough and sand which are surprisingly realistic.

Not to mention they have more than 200 golf courses including Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Kiwah Island, PGA National, and more. It’s easy to see why Golfzon was voted the “Best simulator” by Golf Digest for five years in a row.

Golfzon uses 11 different club and data points to provide a visual of your swing plane and provide extremely accurate data.

While the launch monitors capabilities aren’t as good as Trackman, the simulator makes this indoor golf experience much better.

Membership Options

The indoor golf facility has multiple pricing plans for all types of golfers. The first is an unlimited plan which has different price points depending on the terms:

  • Monthly plan: $249/month
  • Semi-annual: $1,410
  • Annual: $2,640

You get a good discount by switching to semi-annual or annual memberships but I prefer monthly for flexibility. The unlimited plan includes unlimited “tee timez”, full guest privilege, and 24/7 access which you can book in advance.

They also have tiered memberships and punch passes too:

  • Tier 1 membership – $100 and includes 4 hours of golf each month
  • Tier 2 membership – $165 and includes 8 hours of golf each month
  • Tier 3 membership – $200 and includes 12 hours of golf each month

Additionally, they also have a 10-visit punch pass that you can use at your own convenience. All packages include guest privileges so you can bring your buddies to play indoor golf and beat the heat.

Each session is 50 minutes at the top of the hour and members can hold up to four appointments at once. Once you sign up they’ll give you a key card which gives you access to the facility 24 hours per day.

Book Online

Once you sign up for a membership you can book everything online through the Spaces app. This makes it easy to keep track of your appointments and cancel if needed.

If you haven’t signed up yet and want to learn more make sure to book a tour. They will schedule a golf simulator demonstration, explain all the benefits of Golfzon software, and let you see what it’s like before you sign up.

The tour is 50-minutes long and you can bring another golfer(s) with you to check it out. It’s 100% free and a great way to test out the facility.

FAQs

Is Golfzon better than Trackman?

When it comes to the simulator experience I like Golfzon as the mat adjusts to your lie unlike Trackman where you’re always hitting from a flat surface. But Trackman does provide more in-depth data points when it comes to advanced swing analytics.

For the everyday golfer, Golfzon provides 11 data points which is more than enough for most golfers. Some of the metrics include launch angle, ball speed, distance, and more.

Do they have rental clubs?

No, you will need to bring your own golf clubs to enjoy the indoor golf studio.

Can you bring other people?

Yes, you can bring friends and family to Tee Timez even if they don’t have any type of membership. The facility easily accommodates a foursome so you can play a round of golf with your buddies without going outside.

Does Tee Timez provide lessons?

No, they do not provide lessons but you can bring a golf coach with you. Or, if you do online coaching, easily set up your phone for a FaceTime appointment.

Closing Thoughts

I’m a big fan of Tee Timez in Mesa, Arizona and highly recommend this indoor golf facility. It’s priced better than most other indoor simulators in the valley and has a great simulator experience.

Thanks to Tee Timez I even got on the news in early 2023. A few weeks before TPC Waste Management week the owner inquired about standing in during a AZ Family Interview. They were showcasing golf in the valley and I was able to film a segment with them – super cool!

Overall, if you need an indoor golf simulator in the Mesa area, it’s hard to beat Tee Timez. They are looking to expand with more locations in Scottsdale, Gilbert, and Phoenix in the near future.
